Everyday and lately it seems every hour I read an article about how the United States Government is going to change things.Major issues such as Health Care , Sin Taxes ,VMT Taxes, Bailout taxes without any approval from the people who our elected officials are serving.

The elected officials I speak of U.S. Senators and Congressmen are voting and writing bills everyday that will effect our daily lives.Most of them it would seem have absolutley no clue what it's like to live in the real world.It would also seem that they have no clue as to what they are doing.

They even seem to have forgotten the simple notion of who pay's their salary.All $165,200 of their starting salary.Four times that of the average American.That's you and me.We're the one's scrapping by and trying to figure out how we're going to pay these ridiculous bills that they continue to rack up ,not only for us but most likely for our children's children. So I say it's time to send them a simple reminder of who serve's who.And that their responsability is to serve the people of this great nation and not lead down a path of debt beyond our wildest dreams.So with that thought in mind I created this site and Petition that I am asking you to join me in.It's a simple thought a cost savings of about Sixty-Four million dollars a year a drop in the bucket but a small start.

The idea is this by signing this petition you will be joining in asking that our representitive salary be reduced to that of the average United States Citizen ,$43,318 ,So that as they vote on and make new law's they can readily see how it will effect their live's.Until they understand the true ramifications of their actions we will never be able to get our country out of debt.
